Retirement: A Journey into the Unknown and the Unexpected

Journey is the correct word for this. The multitude of problems that older widowers face is largely ignored these days. My own journey of recovering my life, and subsequent retirement, was much more traumatic than this writer, the pit I fell into was much deeper, but so far the Lord has led me to a similar place. Mass, volunteering, bible study, long walks, prayer. Thanks for this article. May God continue to bless the writer.
